BTC is your tech center, offering more than two hours of daily instruction in what you are interested in learning! We have eleven programs that prepare students for career pathways including health care, criminal justice, aviation maintenance, welding, human services, education, culinary arts, design and illustration, digital recording arts, automotive sciences, collision repair and computer systems. We're renovating programs, our website, social media, populating our programs with new technology and creativity, and innovating! The Burlington Technical Center is where passion to design, create, lead, learn and build can help you prepare for your future. Be creative. Be innovative. Be challenged. How far do you want to go? Auto Body

Restore basic dents, resurrect a wreck, and explore custom mods. Build your chops on glass, metals, fiberglass, and painting. See a car as a blank canvas and bring it to life.


Experience learning in a whole new way by getting to know the inner workings of modern automobile. Skills that prepare you for work are taught and reinforced through setting goals and solving problems.

Aviation and Aerospace Technology

If it flies, we learn to fix it! Learn what it takes to keep small aircraft, helicopters, props, and jets in the sky. Did we mention we have a jet?

Programming & Computer Science

learn foundational programming skills applicable to almost any language with an emphasis in Python, JavaScript, and Java. Build apps, work with robotics and electronics.

Criminal Justice

What does it take to be a law enforcement officer? Customs? Security? Crime Scene Investigator? Special Agent? Game Warden? Detective? Those are just a few of the careers in Law Enforcement. Build a foundation to prepare you for multiple career paths in this field.

Culinary Arts

Have you dreamed of owning your own restaurant or bakery? Do you love to cook or bake? Practice your skills and explore what it is like to work in and manage our student-operated restaurant. Our Culinary Arts program is a great place to explore what exciting opportunities await you.

Design & Illustration

If you have creative talents, like to draw and want to explore careers that will help you use these skills, this course will give you the opportunity. You will learn about the many careers associated with the visual arts and get a chance to develop and improve your skills and portfolio.

Digital Media Lab

Learn the skills for work behind the scenes, on the cameras, in the sound studio, in the editing room, directing or producing. Media production on through cinematography is our business and passion.

Human Services

Learn cutting edge and tried practices in the diverse field of Human Services. Explore foundations in education careers and early childhood development in our pre-school and sculpt the future of our world.

Health Sciences Academy

Learn how to keep the human body healthy and in motion. Prepare for a career in the health and wellness industry. Earn college credit to prepare for post-secondary education.

Welding & Metal Fabrication

Learn the basics of welding, cutting and metal fabrication as they relate to many industries and individual artistry in high end design and sculpture.

Design Tech Foundational

9th & 10th grade exploration of applied science, technology, engineering, arts and math in our MakerSpace, Studio B.
